**As of April 2022, SARATSO transitioned back to hosting in-person events. Basic trainings will be hosted in-person to maintain a quality learning experience (as individuals learn to master scoring the training tools). Recertification trainings will remain virtual with a limited number of in-person recertification training opportunities. Please note that SARATSO will be implementing Covid-19 prevention procedures during in-person events. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact SARATSO Staff at SARATSO@cdcr.ca.gov. ***
SARATSO strives to meet the training needs of the certified scorers of California’s risk instruments. If training is needed at a particular location or for a specific risk instrument, please email a request to SARATSO@cdcr.ca.gov as we track areas of needed trainings in planning our annual schedule.
SARATSO must certify all scorers on the risk instruments. All classes must be taught by certified trainers in order for scorers to receive certification.
